Condolence: My prayers for all who loved John. I was in John’s class at FHS and will always remember his bright light. One of my favorite memories of John was sitting across the lunch table from him when he started singing the Oscar Mayer baloney jingle and cracked himself up. He was always kind to me and I admired him greatly. May you all feel God’s Grace and peace in the coming days.

Condolence From: Carol Taylor Halverson
Condolence: I was saddened to see John’s obituary. I went to elementary school in Forest with John. Although I did not keep in touch, I have many fond memories of those times. One thing I remember when I hear John’s name was in second grade we were making Santa faces out of coffee cans. We put red aluminum foil on the can with eyes, nose etc and then we glued cotton balls onto the can for the beard. I just remember John wanting a beard so he glued all his cotton balls onto his face. I still laugh when that comes to mind. RIP, John prayers for his family.
