Obituary for Mary Grace Oakley
Mary Grace Oakley, 5 years old, of Starkville, MS, passed away on Saturday morning, September 29, 2018.
Born on September 9, 2013 in Starkville, MS, she was the daughter of John Waverly and Dallas Nicole Oakley.
Mary Grace attended preschool at Starkville Academy. She was full of life and much adored by her family and friends. She touched everyone's lives that she met with her precious pure heart.
She is survived by her parents, John Waverly and Dallas Nicole Oakley of Starkville, MS; sister, Lucy Annclaire Oakley; grandmothers, Ms. Nell Oakley (grandmother) and Ms. Sam Kellum (Nana) of Starkville, MS.
Mary Grace was preceded in death by her late grandfathers, Mr. James Franklin Oakley, Sr. and Mr. Jerry Wayne Kellum of Starkville, MS.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Memorial graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery on Oktoc Road in Starkville.
Pallbearers will be Brad Johnston, John Cox, Kirby Cox, Steve Miller, Jimmy Stewart, and Jay Stewart, all of Starkville.
As the sun shined so brightly on our family the day Mary Grace was born, little did we know that she would shine her light and love on everyone she met. We will love and miss her always.
