Obituary for Betty Lois O'Brian
Betty Lois Fulghm O'Brian, formerly of Starkville, passed away in September 7, 2018 at her residence in Courtland, MS. She was the retired owner of O'Brian's Personal Care Home in Starkville and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Starkville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. and Lena Fulgham; and her husband, George Dink O'Brian, Sr.; sister, Margie Fulgham; and brothers, Gene Fulgham and Bobby Fulgham.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Edwards (Jim) of Courtland, MS and Melecia A. Swedbergh of Munford, TN; sons, George Dink O'Brian, Jr. (Denise) of Columbus, MS and John E. O'Brian of Jacksonville, FL; sister, Bertie Harpole of Brandon, MS; brother, John M. Fulgham of Maben, MS; 7 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS and 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Double Springs Baptist Church in Maben, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Rev. Dickey Bryan and Rev. Gene O'Brian will conduct the service. Burial will be in the Double Springs Methodist Cemetery.
