To my shock and sadness, I am just now finding out about Sammy's death tonight. I met Sammy back in 1974. We were just kids.We basically grew up together. Went through the crazy 80s together. He spent the night at my house, and I at his. Many weekend sleepovers, playing guitar, watching tv, and in the later years, going to concerts, cruising around Jackson on Friday and Saturday nights. In the early 90s, Sammy moved away, and we lost touch. I guess we had out own lives going, but it haunts me that I lost touch with my great friend, which I loved very much. It just was not just him, it was my stupidity, and selfishness also, that drew us apart. I totally regret it. Im sick to my stomach about it. My life long friend is gone now. I loved him dearly, and always will. Rest In Peace my friend. I will always love you. You were the brother I never had. My condolences to hiis mother Joann, and to his dad, and to all his sisters, and the rest of his family. I am hurting tonight. I lost my brother. Love you always Sammy. RIP Brother.....
