Annette Poitra Irby, 48, passed away on February 9, 2013 at her residence in Starkville, MS. She was a graduate of New Hope High School.

She was preceded in death by her father, Peter Poitra, Sr.; sister, Patricia L. Poitra Rushing.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Irby of Starkville, MS; daughter, Amber Lancaster of Columbus, MS; mother, Rosann Guizzetti of Joliet, IL; and brothers, Peter L. Poitra, Jr. of Panama City, FL and Phillip E. Poitra of Hoover, AL; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 14, 2013 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Welch Funeral Home. Burial will be in Adaton Baptist Church Cemetery.
