Condolence From: Retired 1SG Aron Montgomery
Condolence: A little late, but never too late for my friend and my 1SG Henderson. I had the honor of not only working for this soldier, man of God, but also my mentor and friend Top Henderson as we called him. This was one of the best 1SG I ever worked for in my 20 plus years in the Army. He was a excellent mentor and treated you not just as a soldier, but like a second father. He honored and appreciated the hard work myself and soldiers did for him and the Company he ran at Dothan AL. My commander told me that when I made the rank of 1SG that Top was more happier than I was. Just like him to give the credit back to the soldier. He never asked for anything but hard work, integrity and for his soldiers to love each other and take care of each other. My First Sergeant, that's right my 1SG will be missed and I was blessed to have this man in my life not just in the Army, but as a friend for 19 years after I retired from the Army. For all who believed which I am one of those in Jesus Christ we will see my 1SG again one day. Mrs. Debbie I know you know that and he will always be with us. For your support while he was our first 1SG in the Army and nothing but encouraging words on that hetic duty called recruiting. I send a loud Hooah!!! and Gods blessings until we see him again one day. Went to Heaven on Veterans day. How fitting for my First Sergeant. Love you guys. Retired 1SG Aron Montgomery

Condolence: Very sorry for your loss. Many people find comfort in the Bible during difficult times like this. John 5:28, 29 says "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." I hope that this brings some comfort during this difficult time.
