Reba Reed Pinnix passed away on July 26, 2017 in the Claiborne County Senior Care in Port Gibson, Mississippi. She was 91 years old. Reba was a member of Blythe Creek Baptist Church and the Sherwood Quilters. She is survived by two sons, Phil Pinnix (Bobbye) of Port Gibson, Mississippi and Barney Pinnix (Pam) of Bosie, Idaho; grandchildren, Amy Pinnix Massey, Chris Pinnix, Emily Pinnix Robert, Jesse Thomas, Debbie Thomas, Darby Webb and Trent Webb; great grandchildren, Shelby Massey, Houston Massey, Sydney Pinnix, Grant Pinnix, Savannah Thomas, Gage Thomas, James Robert and Matthew Robert; sister, Barbara Reed Henry.

Reba was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Hubert Hulon Pinnix; her parents, Thomas Council and Jennie Shurden Reed; two brothers, Eldridge Reed and Roland Reed; three sisters, Clytee Reed Pinnix, Francine Reed Pinnix, and Metre Reed Breland.

Visitation will be held at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS on Friday, July 28, 2017 from 5 until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at Blythe Creek Baptist Church, Mathiston, MS on Saturday, July 29 at 10 a.m. with Reverend Doran Henry officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
