Joyce Allene Howell, 62, passed away on July 7, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was Senior Teller with CB&S Bank in Starkville, MS, where she was admired and respected by her customers and coworkers. She was a graduate of Starkville High School and attended Mississippi State University.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Phayree Hunt.

She is survived by her husband, Wade Howell; daughter, Jennifer H. Odom; sons, Wesley Howell(Hannah) and Steven Howell (Chrissy); sisters, Dianne H. Howell and Mary Edna Carmichael; brother, Jim S. Hunt; and 7 grandchildren, all of Starkville, MS.

Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 9, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, July 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bill Murphy will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
