Evelyn V. Trice Freeman, age 84, passed away at her residence in Starkville, MS on June 20, 2017. Evelyn attended Meadowview Baptist Church and she love quilting, her garden, and square dancing.

The visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 23, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home is Starkville with the funeral service to immediately follow. Interment will immediately follow in Memorial Gardens Park. Services will be conducted by the Reverend Jessie Duncan.

Ms. Freeman is survived by her son, Buddy Trice and his wife Julie of Starkville; daughter, Sandra Trice Foster of Starkville; sisters, Claudine Massey of Starkville and Nellie Caldwell of New Hope; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her husbands, Willie Ray Trice and Buddy Freeman; brother, Harold Johns.
