Shannon Dale Cummings, age 40, passed away on March 14, 2017. He was employed as an electrician by Tom Smith Electric in McComb, MS. He loved music, cars, friends, and especially his family.

Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, March 20 at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville. The visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 with the service to follow at 3:00. The graveside service will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery in McCool.

Shannon is survived by his wife, Amy Cummings of Summit; mother, Judy Clardy of Maben; step-father, Carl Clardy of Maben; sons, Dylan Cummings of Starkville and Gavin Loving of Summit; daughters, Breanna Cummings and Alexis Cummings of Starkville; sisters, Stephanie Pinnix (Grant & Sydney Pinnix) and Katrina Crowley (Jordan Crowley) of Starkville; granddaughter, Kyleigh Hays.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Dale Cummings.
