Joe Ed Kimbrough, 70, passed away on August 1, 2016 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. He was retired from Gulf States and member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Maben,MS. He enjoyed visiting nursing homes with his family, attending the auction, working outside, and spoiling his nieces and nephews. He was also an excellent artist.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Felix Kimbrough and Edna Ethel Stewart Kimbrough; sisters, Ruby Fason, Sylvia Barnett, Edna Jean James, and Rachel and Jewel Kimbrough.

He is survived by his sisters, Thelma Edmonds of Longview, MS, Mary York and Sandra Turner, both of Eupora,MS; brothers, James W. Kimbrough of Gainesville,FL, Lamar Kimbrough of Starkville,MS, and Johnny Kimbrough of Fayetteville,GA; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Maben,MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of God of Prophecy in Maben.
