Obituary for Mary Frances Trammell
Mary Frances Trammell, 83, passed away on June 14, 2016 at her residence in Starkville, MS. She was a retired secretary with Starkville Public Schools and the Department of Human Services. She was loving and compassionate, never met a stranger and everyone referred to her as "mawmaw". She loved to travel and loved all Mississippi State sports, and watching her grandkids play baseball, even to travelling games. She was a very good cook and everyone wanted to come over and eat some good ole homemade meals that she had prepared. She had beautiful blue eyes that people always bragged about. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Rickman and Mamie Hooker Rickman; husband, David Trammell; and a son, Bubba Trammell.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Wells and husband Ashley, and Diane Barnette, all of Starkville, MS; grandchildren, Brian Gazaway and wife Haley, Rustin Palmer, Todd Barnette and wife Jennifer, Brad Trammell, Mandy Trammell, and Kelly Trammell; and great grandchildren, Emily Grace, Bree, Jayson, Kemper, and Kasen.
Visitation is scheduled for Friday, June 17, 2016 from 11:00-1:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Jason Green will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
