Condolence: I knew E C at Arkansas Tech and later served with him 9 years in the Ozark National Guard. E C was one of the finest individuals I have ever known and he will be missed by every one who knew him. I always considered E C as one of my best friends. My sympathy goes out to his family and all his friends

Condolence: Dr. O'Neal was one of the best professors I had at Mississippi State. He not only taught classes but he taught "class". He was such a Gentleman, and I respected his thoughts and his integrity. He will truly be missed, and I know that I am a better person for knowing him and learning from him. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. O'Neal's death. He was always so DEAR to me, and reminded me of my own Dad. The students in our department loved and appreciated him, as did all of us who knew and worked with him. He was so helpful to me when I first started teaching, and always "looked out" for me! I'm sure Heaven now has a patch of Maroon and White!

Condolence: Katie and Susan and family. I am saddened to learn of the death of Dr. O'Neal. He always had a very special place in my heart. He made a very positive impact on my life. He was so caring. As my teacher he was always encouraging and had a smile on his face. As an official, he was always honest and officiated a game with utmost integrity. I loved his smile. Gene and I met in his classroom and we both thought the world of him. We speak of him so often. We will be praying for all of you during this difficult time.
