Mr. Charles Allen Ivy, 76, of Sturgis, MS, passed away at Baptist Medical Center in Columbus, MS, on Friday, June 14, 2013 surrounded by his family.

Mr. Ivy was a member of Sturgis Baptist Church, and avid motorcyclist. He also loved traveling and going to Traceway Restaurant for coffee. He love his family, children and "grands".

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Annette Kent Ivy of Sturgis, MS; daughter, Tammie Ivy Jackson of Starkville, MS; sons, Mark A. Ivy of Starkville, MS; and Scott Ivy of Sturgis, MS; sisters, Olene Huddleston (George), Maxine Brooks (Frank), and Glenda Letson (Barney); 4 grandchildren, Hailey and Ryan Jackson and Sierra and Rachel Ivy; and 2 great grandchildren

Mr. Ivy was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Ivy and Pearl Wells Futrell Ivy; brother, Everette Wells; and a daughter, Wanda Gay Ivy.

Visitation for Mr. Ivy will be held at Sturgis Baptist Church from 9-11 a.m. Monday, June 17, 2013 with the funeral service immediately following at the church conducted by Rev. Russell Mord. Burial will follow in Wake Forest Baptist Church Cemetery.
